Is there a way to set driven keys to the lid's row control when adjusting the blink? I need to rig a character's eye that opens its lid almost fully around.
In the RRM3 window, there is the "Control Settings" tab, and in there is the "Face Settings" sub-tab. Here, you can record, mirror and reset the eyelid controls for the open/close eye poses.
This is the tutorial video that goes over how to use these blink settings. I included the time stamp that is more relevant to what you are specifically asking about:
The earlier part of the clip is showing the skinning workflow with NG.Another option is to use Studio Library, which is a fantastic tool for quickly storing and loading poses onto your rig.
Thanks for the reply! Studio Library might be a good solution. To be more specific, in RRM3, I've already set the main lid joints using the "Face Settings" options. However, only the main lid joint rotation attributes are stored, not the row lid joint rotations. Is this behavior expected?
Apologies, I misunderstood. In BETA_2024_01_14 I have added the eyelid rows as well as the translation offset controls as nodes you can update for blinks.
You will need to rebuild your rig for this feature to be available.
