When building a rig, the inner and outer eyelid drivers for both the upper and lower lid are placed the same position as the outer eyelid driver. When moving them around, they only seem to be affecting the outer portion of the lid's spline. I am on Maya 2024.2 and using BETA_2023_11_21. I have also noticed this same issue is present on the Duke rig (Duke_2023_11_15):
Head_left_Top_Inner_EyeLid_Driver_Ctrl, Head_left_Top_Outer_EyeLid_Driver_Ctrl, Head_left_Btm_Inner_EyeLid_Driver_Ctrl, and Head_left_Btm_Outer_EyeLid_Driver_Ctrl are in the same location as Head_left_Outer_EyeLid_Driver_Ctrl. The right eye is the same. The youtube video that showcases the Duke rig shows these controls working, so at some point it was getting generated correctly.
Outside of this and a few other bugs I've run into(I'll be sure to report them when I have the time), RRM3 has all the things I wish RRM2 had. Thank you.
Hey Chris, great find!
The issues with the Inner/Outer_Eyelid_Driver_Ctrl's is fixed in 2024_01_06 versions of both RRM3 and Duke.
