Are you getting any errors in the script editor when this occurs? If you have "show stack trace" enabled under the Histtory menu of the script editor when running the build, it will give a more detailed breakdown of the errors.

Right, I hadn't accounted for some of the controls that were not module controls. I have updated the marking menus in rrm3_installers_BETA_2024_02_08 to have options to Select All Controls and Select Switch Controls for any of the non-module controls. If there are other useful functions that you would like to see in the marking menus, let me know and I will see what I can do! Dustin

Thanks for passing along the issue. I have put in a fix that should resolve the issue. rrm3_installers_BETA_2024_01_23 has the fix.

Apologies, I misunderstood. In BETA_2024_01_14 I have added the eyelid rows as well as the translation offset controls as nodes you can update for blinks. You will need to rebuild your rig for this feature to be available.

In the RRM3 window, there is the "Control Settings" tab, and in there is the "Face Settings" sub-tab. Here, you can record, mirror and reset the eyelid controls for the open/close eye poses. This is the tutorial video that goes over how to use these blink settings. Another option is to use Studio Library, which is a fantastic tool for quickly storing and loading poses onto your rig. Dustin

Hello Mike, I have added a fix for the buttons not staying hidden in rrm3_installers_BETA_2023_10_17. Buttons should now properly stay hidden when loading the UI.

If you are not using the toon limb, I would suggest that you add more influence to the TwistOffset_Jnt. This joint gets no twist at the shoulder, so if you want less twist in the arms, add more weight to the TwistOffset_Jnt instead of the Twist_01_Jnt. Still though, I would recommend that the TwistOffset_Jnt to have no more than ~50% influence in the middle of the arm, and have very little to no influence at the elbow.

An elbow or knee is a hinge joint, which means that the elbow/knee should have the exact same relative twist angle respective to the last upper limb joint so that the arm/leg is planar. However, if the upper limb joint closest to the elbow/knee is at a different twist angle from the elbow/knee, and you still want a sharp bend in the elbow/knee geo, you are going to see a really sharp twist at that point. So the upper arm/leg joint that has skin weights closest to the elbow/knee should have the same twist as the elbow/knee joint. This is why the last twist joint has 100% twist from the shoulder. This is illustrated in the attached gif on the bad twist near the elbow when having the last twist joint not fully twist.

It seems that there were probably large changes to your rig, in that the joint it expects was there before but is not there any longer. I have added additional checks in rrm3_installers_BETA_2023_10_04 which should resolve that rebuild error. Dustin

Hey Andrey, good find! I have put in a fix in rrm3_installers_BETA_2023_10_04 which should resolve those rotational values on the vurve and offset joints. there might be a very small amount of rotation due to slight errors in Maya's math, but the large rotational values should be clean now. Dustin

This is something I have not been able to solve yet with PyQt. Even though it highlights as if selected when clicked, the code does not recognize that, so the only way currently is to drag select, as you mentioned.

How many Upper Twist Joints are you setting in your limbs? Based on your description, it sounds like you have it set to 1. If you are using only 1 Upper Twist Joint, then that "01" joint needs to have 100% inheritance of twist, otherwise the deformation at the elbow/knee will be problematic. If you want a joint in the upper arm to have less than 100% twist, you need to build your limb with a minimum of two Upper Twist Joints.

Yes! In the RRM3 Selector window, right-click on any of the Simulation control buttons and choose "Bake Simulation to Sim Ctrls (Batchable)" The batching will use the Batch Settings at the bottom of the UI. Default will only bake a Single Frame.
