Hello, Is there a way to Enable/disable the dynamics of the chain? I've tried the "Simulation Method" but it doesn't seem to do anything, I wish it was simulated in some frames, but static in some others. Thanks!
Hey! I'd like to ask about collisions. Should colliders be made manually (e.g. on legs for skirt not to intersect with them), or is there an automatic way, like with Rapid Mesh or sth?
That's an excellent question, and something I have not yet solved. I think it is important for users to be able to choose the meshes they want to collide against which could include the rapid mesh if they so desire. I need to add a way of doing that through the UI. Currently, there is nothing supported but it is on my list. I am interested in any suggestions you might have for when I start working on this.
It's possible to use a combination of Maya's physics properties to make the sim more stiff, but to make it easier, I have updated the FK Chain and Bridge modules to have a "followSim" attribute. When set to 0.0, there will be no sim. 1.0 is 100% sim and you can blend back and forth. Here is a video that demonstrates the new attribute in action
